Quick and Easy Fun Fold

Hello all,

Happy Saturday! It's been a busy day. In the morning I took my daughter out for driving practice and had a client come by to pick up an order. This afternoon was spent hanging, virtually, with 8 demonstrator friends. We get together once a month to make cards, share ideas and visit.

Join my team to become part of this and many other amazing groups. When you join during Sale-A-Bration, in addition to choosing $165 worth of product for only $135 (with NO shipping and NO tax) you'll get FIVE packages of their newest Designer Series Paper for FREE. Message me with any questions.

Meet one of the cards we made, a Bendy Fold. I've made this style of card before but only at Christmas. Thanks to Erica, for demonstrating this card.

For your supplies you'll need one colour of cardstock, I used Misty Moonlight Cardstock. Trim a piece to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (this is actually your card base.) You'll also need a strip for along the front. This measures 1 1/4"  x 6 1/2", score at 1/2" on each short end. The centre piece is 2" x 4 1/2". While in landscape, score at 1/2", 2 1/4" & 4.

From your collection of Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper, cut one piece to 4" x 5 1/4" and 1" x 5 1/4". Cut a different pattern for the middle measuring, 1 3/4" x  3 1/4".

You'll also need a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White for your message and some scraps to stamp your greeting/images.

Attach your large rectangle of DSP to the card base. In landscape, score at 2 3/4". Turn it over at score at 2 3/4" again. Without actually folding it, flex the card back and forth to give it a bit of curve. You can adhere the Basic White piece to the back now.

Next attach the long strip of DSP to the long strip of cardstock, in the centre. Fold back the tabs Using our Multipurpose Liquid Glue, apply glue to the 1/2 tabs. Attach these tabs to the sides of the card base at the bottom. Hold the card upright on your table. Gently push the strip down to ensure it's lined up with the bottom of the card.

Attach the remaining piece of DSP and coloured cardstock to each other. Fold back the tabs and apply liquid glue. Put this in the centre of the card front against bottom strip. Make sure it doesn't slide under the strip or the card won't work.

Stamp your greeting and images. I used the Dragonfly Garden bundle with the Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin' Pad. Attach them to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added one little embellishment from the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots. Can you guess what happened next? Wink of Stella, of course! (On the wings.)

Remember, Sale-A-Bration continues until the end of February. The FREE items are flying off the shelves! Since they're while supplies last, order now. My shop is here. For every 60/purchase before s/h & tax, you get to select a FREE item from the SAB catalogue. If your order is under 200, be sure to use this month's host code. You'll be entered into my monthly draw.*
