Farewell to Rooted in Nature

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to my blog. This week, I'm getting ready to say goodbye to one of my favourite stamp sets, Rooted in Nature and the coordinating dies, Nature's Roots. As of May 4th, it will no longer be available. :(

Start with a Garden Green Cardstock base of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Your next layer is a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of the woodgrain paper from the In Good Taste DSP. 

On about a 3"x3" piece of Basic White Cardstock, stamp the tree round in your Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad and fussy cut it out. On white scraps, stamp the greeting & springs (x3) in your Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad and the leaf trio in your NEW Evening Evergreen Classic Stampin' Pad (available May 4th.) Use the dies to cut out the sprigs and leaf trio and separate the greeting words. You can either fussy cut them, use your paper trimmer or a combination of both. I did the latter. To embellish the card, I frayed our old jute ribbon but if you don't have that, you could loop some Linen Thread. 

For assembly attach the DSP to the card front. Using Mini Glue dots, attach the sprigs, leaf trio and ribbon to the back of the tree round. And finally, with your Mini Dimensionals, attach the round to the card front and the greeting on to the round.
