We're more than a month into this strange new world. I hope you and the people you love are doing okay. Staying active and creating is helping to maintain my sanity. This card was created for a swap which is happening later today, from a safe physical distance and precautions. We're each making enough of the same card to trade with each other. The fun thing about this swap is that all the cards must be created from the Ornate Gardens Suite. To make things easier, I've highlighted all the items from that suite in green.
Trim your Old Olive Cardstock base to 5 1/2" x 11". Score at 4" and 8". To get the card to fold properly, depending on the alignment of your score lines, you may need to trim 1/16" off the 4" side. Cut your Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper to 3 3/4" x 5 1/2". If you trimmed the Old Olive, reduce your DSP measurement by 1/16" on the 3 3/4" cut as well.
On the short end of your cardstock, on the 5 1/2" side, make a mark in the middle (at 2 3/4") on the edge with a pencil or erasable pen. In your Paper Trimmer, position your paper at an angle to the closest scored edge and cut. Repeat these on the other side to create the point. Tip: Erase any marks before you emboss. Save the triangle scraps for later.
With the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, emboss the pointed edge of the card. Tip: To do this you need to put your embossing folder into your Cut & Emboss Machine sideways. Please be careful, if you catch the edge of the folder, you could damage it.
Since you have your Cut & Emboss Machine out, from a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock, use the 1 1/4" square from your Stitched Shapes Dies, cut it out. Also using the medium sized flower from the Ornate Border Dies, cut out from Old Olive Cardstock. With your 1 1/2" Circle Punch, punch out the centre of the point. I went in from the tip of the point.
Trim two pieces of 5" Old Olive from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack. Attach them on the pack of the DSP with cello tape. Using your Multipurpose Liquid Glue, attach this to the card front.
Stamp the greeting in Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad on the white square. Since it's a photopolymer stamp (you can see through it), I just lined up the "you're" and then the "amazing" - be sure to clean your stamp in between each word. Line up your stamped rectangle like a diamond on the centre right of the card front (over the DSP.) Fold the peek-a-boo over to make sure it's in the right place. Apply your liquid glue to the back of the square. Tip: Leave a 1/4" border unglued around all the sides. This way if you need to move it a bit, you won't get glue marks. The little flower was fussy cut from the same DSP. I attached it with a Mini Glue Dot.
Fold the peek-a-boo over and see where the point lands. You want to have the edge of your flower catch the tip of the point. Attach your green cardstock flower to a Stampin' Dimensional. While holding the peek-a-boo end down, attach the flower. And last but not least, I stuck on one of the Gilded Gems.

I know I sound like a broken record but receiving a homemade card is touching. We make all these cards but the need to be sent. For the price of a stamp, you can let people know you care or are thinking of them.
