Seashore Stampers March Bloghop - Easter

Hello incredible stampers, dedicated followers, and beloved lurkers,

This month, the fabulous Seashore Stampers are featuring Easter cards in our monthly blog hop. Regardless of one's beliefs, Easter can be an incredible time for new beginnings and renewal. For me, in that department, it means more than New Year's Eve.

Years ago, at work, we were trying to figure out why Easter fell on different dates. Someone suggested I call my Mum (lovingly referred to as, "the walking encyclopedia.") Without even missing a beat, she responded, "It's the first Sunday, after the first full moon, after the vernal equinox." Every Easter I remember this with a smile.

In preparation for a class at my church, I created these 3 cards. Now trying to choose just one of these was akin to picking one's favourite child, which is why I only have one...child. So I decided to showcase all three cards.

For the first card, I used my fabulous new Stamparatus, which is perfect for three-step stamping. These stamps were from the Watercolor Wings and the Hold on to Hope sets. The greeting came from the incredibly versatile Teeny Tiny Wishes. The 2nd card uses the FREE* Celebrate You Thinlit Dies, from Sale-A-Bration, and the Cross of Hope Framelit Dies. The designer series paper is from the Delightful Daisy set. (This is a great card for beginners.) On the 3rd card I used the FREE* Springtime Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper, from Sale-A-Bration, colouring it with the Old Olive and Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends.
