Seashore Stampers April Blog Hop

Hello friends, followers and my beloved lurkers,

Welcome to the Seashore Stamper's Mother's Day Blog Hop!

Even though it's been years since my Mum died, in some ways it feels as though it just happened.
She was an incredible woman. In addition to raising 4 screaming monsters (all a year apart), she some how managed to knit, embroider, weave, and write. The latter becoming her most successful profession. She made time for her church and community, volunteering to help wherever she could. She was caring for our planet earth before it was trendy, pureeing compost 30 years ago in the depths on Edmonton winters (otherwise it wouldn't break down.) Like many Mum's she was my hero. And although I didn't realize it at the time, she was incredibly cool.

If you don't have a mother to give a card to, think another woman in your life who deserves a little acknowledgment. A sister? A friend? A neighbour? A coworker? After all, Mother's Day cards are really a thank you.

One of thing traditions I created for my daughter was to get her a little something on Mum's Day. After all, without her, I wouldn't be a Mum. I see so much of my Mum in my daughter - it really makes me proud. This is a wee card I created for her using the This Little Piggy set. The pearls were coloured using our fabulous Blends. Excepting the Designer Series Paper, everything you see is carrying over into the new catalogue (woo hoo!)

If you need any more information or have questions, just contact me.

This is the time of year when a LOT of items have retired and are being sold on a "while supplies last" basis until June 3, when they'll be gone forever. If there is something on your wish list and you want to know if it's carrying over, I can let you know.

Remember to use this month's host code AEE33UNK on your orders under 200.*

Until next time.

Cheers,
Adrienne

Retiring product and a New Annual Catalogue!

Hello all!

Our Victoria area teams had a blast in Vancouver, at On Stage (convention) where Stampin' Up! released the new Annual Catalogue. (And I'm sorry, unless you're a Demonstrator I cannot share the inside of the catalogue just yet. Spoilers.)

When you join my team before June 3rd, I will have your catalogue bound like mine. (It also has a plastic front & back, which is amazing.) Whether your a hobbyist, just looking for a discount, intent on building a business, or something in between, you will become part of an incredible supportive family.

We all received the new "Daisy Lane" stamp set in our fabulous cotton bag (with zippers.) Check out that brand new colour - gorgeous! (The photo does not do it justice.) In addition, I won "Wildly Happy" & "It Starts with Art" stamp sets. And to wrap up the day, we were all given the "Mosaic Mood" Specialty Designer Series Paper, which is so beautiful.

I placed the Product Purchase Premier (PPP*) order as soon as I got home. I'm excited to feature these amazing new products in my upcoming classes.

To make room for all the incredible new stamp sets and products, a ton of items have retired. This means they are only available while supplies last and once they're gone, they're gone forever. Contact me to see if anything on your wish list has retired.

Until next time.

Cheers,
Adrienne

*PPP is a mini-catalogue of select new items you can only order if you attend On-Stage. Otherwise, as a demonstrator, you have to wait for the Pre-order date, which is usually a couple weeks later.

BIG Changes are Coming!

Hello all,

Stampin' Up! has decided to discontinue their Paper Trimmer and Big Shot (and all their accessories.) But fear not. They will eventually be replaced with Stampin' Up!'s own new fabulous creations.

As some of you may know, the Paper Trimmer replacement blades have had some challenging supply & continuity issues. (Oh those pesky, pesky replacement blades.) I would highly recommend ordering any replacement parts now. Once they're gone, they're gone forever.

Stampin' Up! has decided to create their own machine for embossing and die cutting. The new machine will still work with your old dies and embossing folders. If you already have a Big Shot, I recommend purchasing extra acrylic plates asap. If you've been mulling over the magnetic platform or precision plate, now is the time.

These items, along with other related pieces will roll into the retired items and be available while supplies last. My shop is here.

If you have any questions, please ask away.

Cheers,
Adrienne
